Slowly reviving from a spring of meaningless work. Trying to get back on track with the reviews and TSF 3, which is still on the cards. The mail order is dead, so don't ask.

January 1, 2011 AYPS:
Bad news! I regret to inform that, at the moment, I just do not have the time or resources available that it would take to run the "zine distro" properly, so therefore it is better to call it a night. I still like the idea, but now's not the time. Therefore the distro will close down, but you can do yourself a favour, though, and buy some terribly cheap reading here.

Is this the end of THE SINISTER FLAME, then? Of course not. The third issue will be published some time this year and also the review section on this site will be constantly updated. Well, as "constantly" as it has been so far, that is. Other activities are being considered as well.

I really want to LISTEN to your music BEFORE I write my reviews. Yes, unlike many. It's been relatively silent with the zine distro recently. I'll try to get some new zines available (TORNADO 6, CRYPTS OF ETERNITY 4, etc.) as soon as possible. Long live the ancient, sinister ink of the underground!

The distro list is now updated with new zines; AVE SATAN, HELLTHRASHING, BLOOD FIRE WRATH and VAMPIR. TSF is also distributing the fifth issue of GALLERY OF THE GROTESQUE in limited quantities. Due to the size of the "zine" (220 pages!), those are very expensive to buy in. If you are, however, interested get in touch for further information.

The COMPILATION OF DEATH copies are sold out, again. It seems that whenever I get a new parcel, it takes about four hours for them to be gone. Everybody wants one. And for a good reason.

December 28, 2009 AYPS:
As some of you have had to experience during December, it has been a bit slow with my e-mail communication. I bought an old house recently — as if I didn't have my hands full mastering the chaos already as it was — and the whole moving process has been a battle. But things are back to normal now, more or less, and orders will be carried out promptly from now on. Take a look at the review section, too.

It's been a bit silent with new zines recently, I think. Copies of FATHER BEYOND and EVIL'S BEST are on their way, but other than that, not much seem to be happening. But then again, with Belus coming, life is still quite alright.

SERPENTSCOPE added. I have to admit the review section has been terribly silent in recent months, but I'll try to be more active with reviews in the coming months. Then again, I might not, and just stick to listening to records that actually bear some meaning.

October 7, 2009 AYPS:
Copies of PSICOTERROR #8 and #9 brought to sale, which is certainly one of the most interesting zines available today because the contents go well beyond the music. In other news, I am selling some old demos and seven inches from my collection, so feel free to ask for a list if interested.

Just so that it wouldn't go unnoticed, we're in middle of a True Death Metal renaissance. Dark, Satanic, Mysterious and Occult Death Metal is flooding in from everywhere. And Peruvian CRYPTS OF ETERNITY is one hell of a fanzine all about that; reviewed here.

A few zines added to the distro. There's a whole bunch of other zines to be added very soon as well. It's good to see so many devotees still insisting with the printed form. In the meanwhile, CULTES DES GHOULES have proven once more that it's still possible to make Black Magic with Black Metal.

April 3, 2009 AYPS:
A new chamber launched. Feel free to wander & wonder. This brings about two changes that you might want to be aware of. First, there is a review section on the site for records, demos, zines and books. This means issue 3, for which blueprints are gradually being made, will not feature any reviews. From now on everything that is sent in and that, in one way or another, matches the ethos of TSF will be reviewed on the site. Secondly, there is a very small mail order section, concentrating solely on the distribution of underground Black & Death Metal fanzines and magazines. The plan is to expand the stock in the nearest future with plenty more things.
