Two French Satanic Black Metal tyrants have gathered up once more to pay tribute to Mad Max (3.12.1980 – 23.6.2001).

The cause is worthy and the contents no less. CHRISTICIDE is present with Devil's Wonders (Elixir from Beyond) that does much better job convincing me of their sinister intentions than the whole of their self-titled 2007 debut album. This is a real, breathing fiend brought forth by excellent song-writing and utterly rotten sound. Great lyrics, too. Black Metal with Spirit!

CANTUS BESTIAE is different, but not worse. Their take on morbidity just does not seem to be pleased with staying inside the frontiers of traditional Black Metal, for I am feeling a need to venture further into the inexplicable darkness and depravity. Really obscure stuff that will keep away all those who would rather find themselves in the second word in the definition “Black Metal”. Thank Lucifer these sort of ghouls still exist...

Being limited to mere 400 copies, I'd suggest you don't take your time.
